Fashola Becomes 'Super Minister'...See How Many Powerful Ministries the Former Governor is Heading

Baba­tunde Raji Fashola, on Wednesday, November 11,  became the nation's Minister in charge of Ministry of Power, Works and Housing.

 

The new ministry is the creation of the President Muhammadu-led government, which merged the former ministry of pow­er with that of works and housing.

 

The move may not be unconnected with the con­fidence the President has in the former governor based on his performance in Lagos.

 

Meanwhile, the President, during the swear­ing-in ceremony, publicly confirmed himself as Minis­ter of Petroleum Resources.

 

He also announced the Group Managing Director, GMD, of Nigeria National Pe­troleum Corporation, NNPC, as the Minister of State for Petroleum Ministry.

 

Former Rivers State Gov­ernor, Rotimi Amaechi was announced as Minister of Transport, while National Publicity Secretary of All Progressives Congress, APC, Lai Mohammed was named as Information Min­ister Former Anambra State governor, Senator Chris Ngige is Minister of Labour and Employment while for­mer Finance Commissioner in Ogun State, Kemi Adeo­sun takes charge in the Min­ister of Finance

 

Okechukwu Enelamah (Abia) is Minister of In­dustry, Trade and Invest­ment while Mohammed Musa Bello (Adamawa) is in charge of Federal Capital Territory, FCT.
