A man has plunged his three children and wife into ultimate grief when he killed himself right in his home.
Christopher Duffoir, a father of three children, has committed suicide at his residence situated at Irhirhi, Oko, Benin City, Edo State.
According to Tribune, Christopher's body was found by his wife, Eno, dangling from the ceiling fan in the house.
When interrogated, Eno said her husband had started behaving strangely after he returned from a trip outside the state. She said he was taken to a psychiatric hospital for treatment but escaped from the hospital after staying for a few days.
Eno said on the day of the incident, she had left him sleeping in the sitting room and when she returned, she saw his body dangling from the ceiling fan.
His body has since been deposited at a mortuary in the state while investigations by the Edo state police command is ongoing.
