A man in Lagos has committed suicide in Lagos in yet another controversial circumstance.
A middle-aged man who was obviously tired of life's many troubles killed himself by hanging.
The body was found dangling from a tree at a deserted plot of land in Uche Edemenu Street, Prayer Estate, Amuwo-Odofin, with his luggage beneath the tree.
The name of the man was not given, but it was confirmed the incident happened at about 7a.m. Thursday morning.
When newsmen visited the scene, social workers from State Environmental Health Monitoring Unit, SHEMU, and a police officer from Festac Divisional Headquarters were at the scene evacuating the corpse.
When contacted, spokesperson of Lagos State Police Command, Mr. Joe Offor, asked to be called back for more information.
