Former Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, Professor Attahiru Jega was invited to the London school of Economics in the United Kingdom for a public lecture.

Professor Attahiru Jega spoke on the topic, "Nigeria's 2015 General Elections: giving democracy a chance" on 10 November 2015 at Sheikh Zayed Theatre, New Academic Building.
It should be recalled that the international community and international observers strongly applauded his successful handling of the 2015 general elections in Nigeria with his innovation, the card reader machine massively limiting the chances of rigging and other election malpractices.
