Davido, who was rumoured to have joined the league of celebrities that have fathered a child outside wedlock, has denied 'welcoming' any child with an Abuja-based lady.
Award winning Nigerian music star, Davido, who was rumoured to have welcomed a baby girl with an Abuja-based lady identified as Sophie Momodu, has denied the rumours.
There have been conflicting reports over the past three days that the pop singer welcomed a child with Sophie after he posted a photo showing a baby's hand holding on to an unidentified adult's finger.
Initial reports said Davido's elder sister, Sharon, who is pregnant, had put to bed. Later, the reports said it was the HKN Music boss' child with the Abuja-based lady, who he dated briefly.
But speaking for the first time on the rumours through an aide, Davido, who is putting finishing touches to his 3rd studio album, told Nigeria Entertainment Today (NET) that neither he nor his elder sister had welcomed a child.
"Bloggers are just confused. Davido doesn't have a child yet. His sister is still pregnant too. Davido simply put up a baby's hand to signify a new beginning and its causing wahala", the aide said.
