Judge Who Halted Saraki's CCT Trial Set to Retire (Photo)

One of the judges who presided over the case of the embattled Senate President, Bukola Saraki at the apex court is set to retire from his long service in the judicial system.

Nigerian Supreme Court Justice, John Fabiyi who halted Saraki's corruption trial today is set to retire in December 2015, according to SaharaReporters.

Justice Fabiyi was born on November 25, 1945, meaning he will reach the mandatory retirement age of 70 on Nov. 25, 2015.
 
Saraki is facing trial at the Code of Conduct Tribunal, CCT presided over by Justice Umar Danladi over allegations of false declaration of assets which attracts grave consequences if he is found guilty.
