Nigerian Army this morning achieved another feat in its fight against the outlawed Boko Haram sect, when troops engaged the insurgents in a fierce gun battle.
Troops of the Nigerian Army, this Friday morning, November 13, repelled a fresh attack on Gwoza community in Borno State by Boko Haram.
The terrorists arrived the community in the early hours of this morning and engaged the troops in a gun battle but were defeated.
In most recent times, the Army has gained more grounds against the insurgents as troops have cleared several hideouts belonging to the insurgents.
