The Biafra protest which has been on in the last two weeks turned a bit violent in Aba, Abia State.
Thousands of pro-Biafra protesters touching all the Eastern states in Nigeria have progressed into Abia state with large numbers during which the popular Aba area was shut down.
The protest went violent due to some reasons yet to be ascertained as roads were barricaded and bonfires lit up in some busy spots.
Security operatives were on ground to monitor the situation and to prevent it from further escalation.
