World Bank President Hails D'banj's Star Power

He might not be receiving awards for any of his songs of late, but Nigerian super star, D'banj, has captured the eyes of the world with the World Bank President, Dr. Jim Yong Kim, giving him a shout on Facebook for using his 'star power' to bring attention to serious developmental issues.

ONE Ambassador, D'banj, has received a shout out from World Bank President, Jim Yong Kim, who hailed the entertainer's commitment to the African Union's Year of Women's Empowerment.

 

The DB Records founder, who is one of the world's leading artistes that have signed up to the global awareness campaign against poverty and other related issues, recently performed his new single 'extraordinary' - dedicated to the womenfolk - for the first time at the Global Earth Citizen Day 2015 in Washington.
