Nigerian Flying Labs Makes Major Announcement That Benefits Youths

Already, 100 youths have been trained in smart farming including the use of drone technology in Agriculture.

The Nigerian Flying Labs, South-west Hub has announced a drone certification and digital entrepreneurship program for youths and professional in Ondo State.

As part of the collaboration between the Nigerian Flying Labs, South-west Hub and the State’s Office of Innovation and Partnerships, the training would also include modules in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence.

Participants would benefit from internship opportunities with the Ondo State Office of Innovation and Partnerships for one month to give them first-hand experience on real-life scenarios around using robotics for social good through practical experience in drone piloting and drone data analysis.

Also, selected individuals within the program would intern with the Nigerian Flying Labs, South-west Hub for two months, where they would work with any of the Nigerian Flying Labs, South-west Hub private sector partners.

This is in continuation of the efforts of the Nigerian Flying Labs, South-west hub in mentoring youths in the state in digital entrepreneurship as well as identifying and building a relevant skillset that can facilitate their socio-economic development.

Already, 100 youths have been trained in smart farming including the use of drone technology in Agriculture through the Ondo State Agribusiness Empowerment Center (OSAEC).
