Anti-Jega campaigner, Orubebe announces defection to APC

Orubebe, who attracted controversy after disrupting the announcement of presidential election results in March, announced he is defecting to APC after all.

 
Former Minister of the Niger Delta and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain, Godsday Orubebe seems to be planning a defection to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
 
Orubebe, who attracted controversy after disrupting the announcement of presidential election results in March, gave a hint of his plans via Twitter on Tuesday, May 19, 2015.
 
“I have concluded plans to join my folks in the APC to champion and sustain the movement for a better Niger Delta in the new administration,” Orubebe tweeted.
 
“Details will be released soon. Thank you all,” he added.
