An aggrieved passenger has taken on Turkish Airline over the loss of his luggage which contains vital documents which is yet to be found by the airline officials.
The damaged luggage
Olugbenga Ayoyemi who flew in from Istanbul to Lagos, Nigeria on 24th October 2015 via Turkish Airlines, has been at loggerhead with the airline over his missing luggages.
Olubenga said one of the bags which was fragile, was damaged with a HP laptop screen broken, while his second bag was declared missing on arrival. According to Olugbenga, 7 pairs of Zara shirts, a Hublot wrist watch, a gold necklace with customized 'ewelee' and 2 jeans where stolen from his damaged bag.
The second bag of about 27kg has not been found till date, the passenger claimed he complained at the airport to a Turkish airline staff and he was asked to call back the next day to report the missing items which he did.
He said the missing bag contains vital documents and his iPad tablet. He called on the Turkish Airline and the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) to take responsibility for their action and provide him with his luggage and missing item.
He said a formal complain will be made to the Consumers Protection Council of Nigeria, FAAN and the Honorable Minister for Transport.
