YBNL artiste, Lil Kesh who rose to fame with his hit single, 'Shoki', is beginning to gain global recognition for his popular street dance step.
The Nigerian Broadcasting Corporation however limited the song to airplay during 'watershed' hours, their reasons being that it is obscene and could corrupt the underaged, but it still managed to cross borders as American rap icon, Missy Elliott sampled the dance in her new single,
WTF (Where They From).
We
reported it here two days ago when Missy thanked Nigerians for giving the world the dance, but yesterday, she acknowledged Lil' Kesh himself, and explained how she got to learn about Shoki dance.
