Femi Adesina has given a stern warning to the PDP after the party alleged that the presidency had a hand in the attempted assassination of Ike Ekweremadu.

The Presidency has reacted angrily to the accusation by People's Democratic Party publicity secretary Olisa Metuh that it masterminded the recent assassination attempt on the deputy president of the Senate, Ike Ekweremadu, describing it as ridiculous.
The Presidency also debunked claims by PDP that it is raising killer squad against the party chieftains.
However, in a swift reaction, the presidency asked the PDP to stop embarrassing itself before the Nigerian populace which it said knows the truth. The caution came through the Special Adviser to President Mohammadu Buhari, Mr. Femi Adesina.
Adesina, in a tacit submission stated that Nigerians know the party that is a nest of killers. He said, “The allegation is so ridiculous that one shouldn’t reply that. It is ridiculous. Nigerians know the truth. Nigerians know those who are nest of killers.”
It will be recalled that The PDP had accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) of being behind the assassination attempt on the deputy president of the Senate, Ike Ekweremadu. The allegation was made by Olisa Metuh who said the era of political assassination had returned to Nigeria.
