A woman took drastic actions to secure her position against her husband's wish to marry another woman.

A 41-year-old Egyptian woman killed her husband with the help of their son, to stop him from taking a second young wife, newspapers reported on Thursday.
The 50-year-old husband, identified as Yusri, told his family at home in the Egyptian capital Cairo that he intends to marry a young girl in line with Islamic law which permits men to have four wives at a time.
An argument ensured, and the wife, Nima, waited for her husband to turn his back before she hit him with a sharp object on the head, the report said.
“She told police that she had sacrificed for the family for 28 years and worked in many places to help her husband and feed her children
"She said she could not accept that a young girl comes and take all what she has done for the family,” a security source said.
