Andy Murray stopped mid-match against Rafael Nadal at the ATP World Tour Finals yesterday, Wednesday, November 18, to give himself a haircut.
Murray who was so focused on next week’s Davis Cup final away in Belgium, dug out a pair of scissors from his bag and began to snip off some hair which had been getting in his eyes after losing his first service game of the match.
Speaking to reporters after the match, he said "I don’t know why such minor things make such a big deal with you guys. I had some hair in my eye and I just wanted to get rid of it. That literally took two seconds. That was it. It was nothing to do with next week or anything to do with the outcome of this match."
