An over-speeding vehicle has knocked to death a yet-to-be identified girl at the Garman bridge in Okirigwe Community, Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State.
The deceased died on arrival at the Central Hospital in Sapele, DAILY POST can report.
It was learnt that the driver of the vehicle which knocked the lady to death was promptly apprehended and handed over to the Police for possible prosecution.
When contacted for comments, the Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya did not pick calls or respond to text messages sent across to her mobile phone line.
