A Nigerian farmer has cried out on Twitter after losing 30 birds overnight due to the recent extreme heat wave.
The country is generally experiencing a heat wave, as many can’t wait for the relieve of rain.
With people complaining about the effects of the heat on their body, little did we know that even poultry are suffering under the harsh conditions.
A poultry farmer, Sogaolu Ayodeji, took to Twitter to reveal that he lost 30 birds overnight due to the heat.
He wrote;
This heat oo…. Lost 30 birds just overnight cause of the heat. Have to add ice block into their water to help out
