A British man has sympathised with the victims of the recent Borno bomb attack using his social media page.

A white man, identified as Richard Thrift has given Nigeria the needed support after a deadly attack yesterday as the country battles the deadly Boko Haram sect.

He created a Facebook profile with the Nigerian flag at the background while sympathising with the victims of the Borno bomb attack.

It should be recalled that Facebook introduced this idea after the coordinated terrorist attacks in France that left about 129 people dead in the capital.

"For Nigeria who just had another terrorist attack. Facebook won't create one, so I did this myself." Richard Thrift wrote on his Facebook page.

"Just making a point. Every western cause is given special treatment by Facebook and then a terrorist attack in Africa does not get its attention." he added.
