Disciplinarian big sister has brought sorrow to her family and her community in Bayelsa State after she flooged her 7-year old brother to death.
The calm community of Otuagbagi in Ogbia Local Government Area, of Bayelsa State, was thrown into chaos and mourning, on Tuesday, November 24, following the alleged flogging to death of a 7-year old boy by his elder during a domestic quarrel, Vanguard reports.
The deceased, identified as Harry, was reportedly flogged to death by his 15-year old elder sister, Faith Festus, over his alleged refusal to run an errand.
It was learnt that the incident occurred after school hours in the absence of the parents.
The spokesman of the State Police Command, Asimin Butswat, who confirmed the development, said the corpse of the deceased boy had been deposited at the Kolo General Hospital.
