Rodman Rivera Chirinos
Davie police have arrested a man identified as 46-year-old Rodman Rivera Chirinos who was alleged to have sexually molested his child’s classmate in the parking lot of a church after forcefully offering her a ride.
According to Davie police, Chirinos offered her a ride, but she refused. The girl walked to another bus stop, where Chirinos again offered her a ride, and she agreed.
Chirinos took her to the church parking lot in the 12900 block of State Road 84. He closed the doors of the car and began to touch her chest. The girl tried to escape, but Chirinos grabbed her and began kissing her. Chirinos then took off the girl's pants and touched her private parts. He then took her back to the bus stop.
Police investigation revealed that the girl knew Chirinos through her church, and she stated that she has known the suspect for five years.
But Chirinos wife believes her husband is innocent.
Chirinos was charged with two counts of lewd or lascivious molestation of a child older than 12 but under 16 years of age and lewd and lascivious exhibition. He was booked into the Broward Main Jail, and his bail was set at $75,000.
