A daughter who could not bear the though of her terminally ill father missing out on her wedding, pushed the date forward and moved her wedding to her father's hospital bed.

A North Carolina woman decided to hold her wedding in a hospital room so her terminally ill father could be a part of her big day.
Kaila Kirby always assumed her father would walk her down the aisle. But in recent days, as Jubal Kirby grew desperately ill with an incurable lung disease, it became clear he might not live to see his daughter’s wedding next July.
So, with a few hours’ notice Wednesday morning, family members and hospital nurses scrambled to help Kaila and her fiancé, Daniel Pardue, arrange an impromptu wedding by her father's bedside in the intensive care unit at Carolinas Medical Center.
According to the bride, having a wedding without her father’s presence wouldn’t have turned out to be the perfect wedding she has always dreamt off.
“I just kind of wanted my Dad to give me away on my wedding day,” Kalia Kirby told WBTV.
