The tension brewing in the ruling All Progressives Congress over the controversial Kogi elections, boiled to overflow yesterday as supporters of the new candidate Yahaya Bello and the former party running mate, James Faleke clashed.
A handful of thugs numbering over a thousand attempted to attack the party's newly handpicked candidate in the December 5th supplementary election, Yahaya Bello as he arrived the secretariat on Monday afternoon, November 30, to attend a meeting with top party leaders.
The thugs engaged the supporters of Yahaya in a free for all fight as Police and other security agents tried to restore law and order.
