The daughter of Nelson Mandela's widow, has been speaking for the first time on television about her experience of being physically abused and beaten by her partner and how it left her blinded in one eye.

The stepdaughter of Nelson Mandela, Graca Machel alleges she was the victim of domestic abuse. She says she was left blind in one eye after a former boyfriend whom she does not name, attacked her during her mother's 70th birthday celebrations in October.

As part of the BBC'S '100 Women Series', Machel tells her emotional and heart-breaking story to Milton Nkosi of what happened in Mozambique's capital, Maputo, on her mother's 70th birthday.
