A social media user has shared a hilarious but serious account of how he hustled for fuel in Lagos state amidst the scarcity crisis.

The man about to remove the generator's fuel tank

A man was forced to remove the tank of his power generating set for the purpose of purchasing fuel in Lagos, the commercial capital of Nigeria as the gas station attendant refused to sell fuel to him in a jerry can to curb the resale of the product in the black market.

In his words:

"After walking to and fro for many hours looking for fuel I realised that they were not selling to people with keg becos of the black marketers and their wahala. I was told by the fuel attendant to go and bring my generator to the filling station so they can sell for me or i should bring my fuel tank"
