Lala Akindoju Blasts AGN After Visit To Regina Daniels Home To Congratulate Her On The Birth Of Her Baby

Nigerian actress Lala Akindoju has slammed  the Actors Guild of Nigeria after its members visited her colleague, Regina Daniels.

The Actors Guild of Nigeria paid a courtesy visit to new mum, Regina Daniels and the actress received them, together with her husband, Ned Nwoko.

The group was lead by the AGN President, Emeka Rollas who presented a gift to the new mum.

"This is our baby, Nollywood baby of the year, we are here to rejoice with your family
," Emeka Rollas said as he presented the gift to the parents of the newborn at their palatial resident at Royal Court villa in Abuja.

The visit held during the weekly family reunion of the Nwoko family, a time when Ned Nwoko and members of his family come together for different sports activities.

However, Lala opposed the visit, writing: "This is actually shameful. In these times where the actor’s guild should show leadership on pressing issues like navigating the industry with COVID-19, like creating structures to stop sexual harassment in the industry. This is their priority. Even if you visit your member."

She added: "must you film and post? The videos we need to see about future and safety of practitioners. Yet, they abuse us and insist that we join. Sigh!"
