APC Crisis: Ondo APC Chairman Resigns And Joins PDP

A member and chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress in Ondo state has resigned from his position.

The Chairman of All Progressives Congress, APC, in Ese- Odo Local Government Area of Ondo State, Samuel Olorunwa Ajayi, on Friday July 10, resigned from his position.
 
He also resigned from being a member of the party.
 
This comes less than two weeks to the APC's governorship primary election in Ondo state.
 
Ajayi who tendered his resignation letter at the party’s secretariat, also revealed that he has  decamped to the People’s Democratic Party, PDP.
 
Ajayi is a close ally of the Deputy Governor, Agboola Ajayi, who recently dumped APC for PDP. Ajayi was the one who received the resignation letter of the Deputy Governor when he dumped the APC last month.
 
Agboola Ajayi is at loggerheads with the governor of Ondo State, Rotimi Akeredolu and has indicated interest to run against him in October.
