Lagos Federal court orders NDLEA to leave Buruji Kashamu's house

The NDLEA officials who invaded Kashamu's home on Saturday, May 23, 2015, in a bid to arrest and extradite him to the US to face drug charges have been ordered to vacate the premises.

 
Buruju Kashamu might have escaped this one again as a Federal High Court(FHC) in Lagos has ordered officials of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) to vacate the home of Senator-elect, Buruji Kashamu.
 
The NDLEA officials invaded Kashamu’s home on Saturday, May 23, 2015, in a bid to arrest and extradite him to the US to face drug charges and have been outside his residence for over a day.
 
The agents were however unable to arrest him for lack of a warrant and eventually put him under house arrest.
 
The order to vacate was given on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 by Justice Ibrahim Bubba of the FHC in Ikoyi.
 
The matter has been adjourned till‎ June 4, 2015.
