INEC will soon announce the winner of the Bayelsa gubernatorial election with just one single Local government area result to go as Seriake maintains a massive lead.
Seriake Dickson and Timipreye Sylva
The incumbent governor and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Seriake Dickson, has won the governorship election in Six out of Seven Local Government Areas announced so far.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) announced the result a few minutes ago. Out of the Seven, Gov. Dickson won in Six, while Sylva took one. Sylva won in his local government of origin, Brass.
With the latest announcement, the only result remaining now is the result from Southern Ijaw Local Government Area.
