Lagos State governor had said the helicopters were bought to boost the safety and security of the state through air surveillance but it was used to fly Tinubu to Ile-Ife, Osun State, today for the coronation of the Ooni of Ife.
According to The Whistle, one of these three helicopters bought by the Lagos State Government for the purpose of combatting the rising crime rate through air surveillance in the state, was used today to convey APC National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to the Coronation ceremony of the Ooni of Ife.
The helicopters were reportedly procured at the rate of N4.8 billion naira, but this didn't prevent motorists from getting robbed this morning on Ikorudu road.
However, many Lagosians are expressing their displeasure at the fact that one of the helicopters was used to fly Tinubu to Ile-Ife, Osun State...tax payers money indeed!
