The Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has given a brutal reply to Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II for alleging on PBS Newshour in the US that $1billion naira left former President Goodluck Jonathan's administration monthly.

The monarch had said: “In Nigeria, there is no accountability at all and that is why I think Nigeria’s corruption is worse than corruption in most parts of the world. It is the worst type of corruption. It’s stealing. Frankly I think a billion dollars under Jonathan a month was about what we were losing.”

Femi Fani-Kayode's reply to the allegation was a brutal assault worded so strongly it struck home. FFK wrote a reply to Emir Sanusi on his Facebook page thus:

“When I read this I was left with the conclusion that this man has gone completely mad. He should provide evidence to prove his allegation that 1 billion dollars was stolen every day by Jonathan or he should just shut up and hold his peace.”

“If it is not President Buhari travelling to foreign lands to criminalize and defame the Nigerian people with his malicious words and absurd generalizations it is people like Emir Sanusi Lamido. This rubbish has to stop.” He wrote.
The outburst by the former minister generated much controversy on the internet as many lambasted him while others encouraged him to spill more. Although, he later edited the post, the damage was already done.
