In videos gone viral on social media online, two Fox News commentators were suspended on Monday for using profanities while criticizing President Obama's terrorism speech.
A Fox News analyst, Ralph Peters, was suspended for two weeks on Monday after he called President Barack Obama "a total pussy" for his strategy to fight the Islamic State (ISIS) on live television.
"Mr. President, we're not afraid, we're angry, we're pissed off, we're furious!. We want you to react, we want you to do something. You're afraid. I mean, this guy is such a total pussy, it's stunning," retired Lt. Col. Ralph Peters said on the Fox Business Network show Varney & Co., in response to Obama's Oval Office address on Sunday night.
Host Stuart Varney interrupted Peters' analysis to scold him for his language, before continuing the interview. "OK Ralph, I can tell you are super angry, and I asked you what your reaction was, but I've got to call you, you cannot use language like that on the program," Varney said.
Stacey Dash, a panelist on the Fox News show "Outnumbered", was also suspended for two weeks after saying that President Obama doesn't "give a shit" about terrorism on Monday.
According to CNN, Dash's comment was partly bleeped out, while viewers got to hear an unabridged version of Peters's sound bite.
Unapologetic Stacey Dash said in the tweet she was willingly paying the consequences for her comment.
A Fox executive told CNN in a statement; "Earlier today, Fox contributors Lt. Col. Ralph Peters and Stacey Dash made comments on different programs that were completely inappropriate and unacceptable for our air.
Fox Business Network and Fox News Channel do not condone the use of such language, and have suspended both Peters and Dash for two weeks," he stated
