A group has filed a case on Tuesday, May 26, 2015, seeking an order nullifying the certificate of return issued to Buhari by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

It seems like anti-Buhari forces are not willing to retire so soon, as they have filed another case against the President-elect.

The Advocacy for Societal Rights Advancement and Development Initiative has urged a Federal High Court in Abuja to stop the inauguration ceremony of President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari from taking place.

The group filed the case on Tuesday, May 26, 2015, and is also seeking an order nullifying the certificate of return issued to Buhari by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

According to the group, Buhari cannot be validly be sworn in because he falsified his academic information and as such did not qualify to contest the presidential elections.

This is the newest in a series of cases filed against Buhari on the same basis but all the others were withdrawn after he won the March 28 elections.

Other defendants in the case are INEC and the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Mahmud Mohammed, who is to swear Buhari in on Friday, May 29.
