The proud coach of Nigeria's U-23 team, Samson Siasia, took to Twitter to send a warm shoutout to his team after a smooth cruise over Senegal yesterday evening.

Nigeria’s national U-23 coach, Samson Siasia has congratulated his team for trumping hosts Senegal at the ongoing U-23 African Nations Cup.
In a tweet immediately after their semi-final match, Siasia disclosed that the journey had been very rough.
He said: “This journey was tough. I want 2 congratulate my team on and off the pitch 4 securing our ticket for Rio.”
Etebo Oghenekaro’s spot kick in the 76th minute was enough for the Dream Team VI to scoop a place at the 2016 Olympics in Rio, Brazil, as well as securing a place in the final of the U-23 African Nations Cup.
Nigeria will now face Algeria which defeated South Africa 2 – 0 in the second semi-final.
Both Nigeria and Algeria had met in the group stage with the game ending 0 – 0.
