Nigeria's President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the reappointment of Nigerian Railway Corporation boss.

Freeborn Okhiria's reappointment as the Managing Director, Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) has been approved by President Muhammadu Buhari.
Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Transportation, Magdalene Ajani, made the announcement.
A statement she signed said the tenure renewal was contained in a State House memo.
The letter with Ref: No SH/COS/17/A/1698 was dated October 5, 2020.
“President Buhari has approved the renewal of the appointment of Engr. Freeborn Edetanlaen Okhiria, as the Managing Director/CEO of Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC)”, it read.
The appointment was in accordance with the Nigerian Railway Corporation Act. Cap 129, LFN, 2004.
Okhiria was first appointed on October 24, 2016.
His second and final term of four years will take effect from October 20, 2020.
