The government of Nigeria has been condemned for unleashing horror on protesters at Lekki.

Popular American singer, Beyoncé has condemned the killing of unarmed protesters by security operatives in Nigeria.
 
Recall that many were killed on Tuesday when soldiers opened fire on #EndSARS protesters at Lekki.
 
Beyoncé released a statement via Instagram on Wednesday in which she said that she is heartbroken about the current state of Nigeria.
 
In her words;
 
“I am heartbroken to see the senseless brutality taking place in Nigeria.

There has to be an end to SARS.

We have been working on partnerships with youth organizations to support those protesting for change. We are collaborating with coalitions to provide emergency healthcare, food and shelter.

To our Nigerian sisters and brothers, we stand with you.
