The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission is not mincing words, after it issued an order informing Niger Delta Militant Leader, Tompolo to appear before the commission over fraudulent charges against him.

Niger Delta Militant Leader, Mr. Government Ekpemupolo also called Tompolo

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has given the notorious former Niger Delta militant leader, Mr. Government Ekpemupolo, also known as Tompolo, one week to appear before it or be declared a wanted man, reports from Sahara Reporters revealed.

The EFCC has been investigating Tompolo for the fraudulent sale of land to the government last year worth N13 billion and now demands to question him on all he knows about the deals.

It would be recalled that the Head of Operations at the EFCC, Iliasu Kwabai, requested Tompolo to appear before the Commission in November but he never showed up.

Tompolo is now expected to appear at the EFCC facilities on Thursday, December 17th.
