Social Media Bill: Nigerians Roast Desmond Elliot for Calling Youths ‘Children’

A lawmaker has been condemned on social media over comments he made about Nigerian youths.

Nigerians are not happy with Desmond Elliot and have taken to Twitter to express their anger over a comment he made concerning Nigerian youths.
 
It all started after the Nollywood star cum politician had denied not endorsing social media regulation.
 
However, a video of him seemingly endorsing regulation of social media leaked today with many people attacking him. In the video, he called Nigerian youths 'children' and blamed them over social media attacks.
 
The lawmaker representing the Surulere constituency in the Lagos State House of Assembly supported the social media bill, hence triggered an uproar across social media platforms.
 
Many people have asked for his constituents not to return him. He has also been called a liar
