Details have emerged allegedly revealing why a Lagos lawmaker supported social media regulation.

It has been alleged that Nigerian politician, Desmond Elliot spoke in favour of social media regulation because of his alleged sidechic Dr. Anu of Med Contour who was dragged merclilessly some time ago over failed surgery.
 
Recall that the Lagos lawmaker received heavy backlash from Nigerians after he made a speech saying social media should be regulated.
 
The actor who felt the heat after he was dragged mercilessly on all social media platforms, bowed to pressure and apologized to Nigerians.
