The world's first robotic bridesmaid has been designed and could actually steal the show at your wedding.

A couple in China have become the first people in the world to have a robot for a bridesmaid, Mirror Online reports.
The panel-faced bridesmaid, named Jaoye, passed the happy couple their wedding bands and even gave the blessing during the ceremony in Tianjin.
Its designers believe the robot could be a popular solution for couples due to its 'low cost', according to news agency Ruptly.
That would be compared to the incredibly expensive business of asking your best friend to do the honours.
And while the concept of having an artificially intelligent android as part of your wedding party is no doubt appealing, it is very difficult to look past the fact that this appears simply to be a robot in a dress.
Still, at least she won't quaff all the champagne and flirt with the groom's brother.
