The Accident Scene
A tragic accident happened on Sunday, December 13 as two vehicles plunged into a shallow valley and somersaulted severally in Awka, Anambra state, leaving six persons badly injured.
The accident which involved a Toyota Tacoma SUV with registration number SMK 36 FL, and Toyota Camry, with registration number ENU 430 MW heading towards Onitsha, happened near Federal Road Safety Corp, FRSC Command Office in Awka on Sunday, December 13.
According to an eyewitness, the accident was caused by careless overtaking, adding that no death was recorded.
The injured survivors were taken to Princeton Hospital, Ngozika Housing Estate, Awka where they are currently receiving medical attention.
