Niger State Residents Storm Road to Scoop Spilled Petrol as Loaded Tanker Crashes (Photos)

Residents in Niger State stormed the road to scoop fuel after a tanker loaded with the petroleum product crashed on the road.

A tanker conveying 32,000.00 litres of fuel lost control and rammed into a pavement on a bridge in kpakungu, Minna Niger State, leaving the content of the tanker spilling out.
 
The fuel spilled to various channels and canals within the community forcing residents to take advantage of the situation by scooping from the spillage.
 
The NEMA (MOO) team led by Assistant Coordinator Mr Abdulrazaq Musa and key stakeholders (NSEMA, Fire Service, FAAN, VIO, FRSC, NSCDC, Police Air Force - Quick response team, Red Cross, Commissioners (works & information), etc) were on ground to avert possible fire disaster.
