According to the Nigeria Center for Disease Control, 1270 new cases of coronavirus has been confirmed in the country.

On Tuesday, January 12, Nigeria recorded 1270 fresh cases of coronavirus.

According to the statistics released by the health agency, Lagos recorded 435 cases while the FCT recorded 234 cases.

Other states with fresh cases include Oyo-103, Plateau-86, Rivers-71, Enugu-51, Nasarawa-41, Delta-39, Edo-39, Osun-33, Niger-31, Sokoto-23, Ondo-16, Taraba-13, Ebonyi-12, Kano-10, Abia-9, Bayelsa-8, Bauchi-7, Imo-5, Katsina-3 and Gombe-1.

Nigeria now has 102, 601 confirmed cases of the disease. 81, 574 patients have been successfully treated and discharged while 1373 deaths have been recorded.
