In this epic footage, a heroic police officer is caught on camera leaping onto a moving vehicle to save the life of a man who had diabetic seizure.

A police officer chased and then took over a moving lorry after the driver had a diabetic seizure. Sergeant Todd Volk of Madison County Police said he and his partner were alerted to an out-of-control 18-wheeler tractor-trailer going along Highway 81, and drove ahead of it to see the driver.
When it was clear that the driver wasn’t well, Sergeant Volk parked his patrol truck ahead of the lorry sprinted across the road and climbed aboard the lorry so he could hit the brakes. It was later found that the driver was having a diabetic episode. Madison County Sheriff Vern Hjorth said Volk had risked his life to save another, and commended his actions. The dash-cam footage was taken on 2 December but was released yesterday.
