Chris Norris, an African American man has celebrated after his wife welcomed their child after more than a decade of trying.
The man and his wife Ka'shawndra welcomed their first child after almost 17 years of trying.
Chris, who shared the good news on Monday February 1, said their baby girl was born on January 27, 2021.
"After almost 17 years of trying to have a child, my wife and I welcomed a baby girl into this world. Patience Elise Norris 1/27/2021. Our little Aquarius baby."
Sharing a photo of him gazing adoringly at his newborn daughter, he wrote: "I didn't know what life was until you were born my twin. If feels too good to see what your mom and I made. We love you so much!"
His wife, on her part, said almost 17 years of trying makes all the tears worth it .
"The Most High words never come back void." she added.
