Two Sanusi's sons were photographed enjoying horseback riding dressed in Kaftans and colourful knitted caps.
Sanusi, who was a former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria was selected to succeed his great uncle Ado Bayero as the Emir of Kano on the 8th of June, 2014.
