The burial prayers is taking place at his residence.
Deputy Governor of Lagos state, Dr Obafemi Hamzat, former Ogun State Governor Ibikunle Amosun and sons of the deceased, Deji and Seyi Jakande took the front row.
Earlier, Amosun was spotted signing the condolence register.
