A Nigerian man took to social media to share the email he received from his wife, requesting for a raise in her monthly upkeep.
The husband said his wife had approached him to ask for an increase and he asked her to write a formal letter.
In her mail, she listed her duties to the family as a chef, teacher, wife, doctor, caretaker etc. She added that she has performed her duties to the best of her abilities and needs a raise due to the increased cost of living.
Her husband responded in a mail, promising to discuss with the board and get back to her.
He then copied to the mail the Labour Union, Wives Association of Nigeria, and the Mothers Progressive Union.
