The former President Goodluck Jonathan, is one of those next in line to be quizzed by the EFCC on his involvement in the $2billion shady arms deal, but will be interrogated in an entirely different manner.

Former President, Goodluck Jonathan

The immediate past president, Goodluck Jonathan will be questioned by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over the controversial arms deal scandal.

According to reports, the anti-graft agency may secretly write the ex-president whose name it claimed has consistently come up in the investigation into the scandal.

An EFCC source said the agency however has no plans to invite the former President but “we may write him to tell us his own side of the story because his name has been coming up in our investigations?” Punch reports.

The agency however claims it needs the clearance of the president to write the former number one citizen of Nigeria.

Recall that the former National Security Adviser, Col. Sambo Dasuki (retd.), was reported to have said he disbursed funds from his office based on the instruction of the former President.
