The cause of the fire outbreak is yet unknown but no loss of life or injury has been reported.
The fire scene
There was a fire outbreak at the popular plastic market in Onitsha, Anambra State in the early hours of today, March 5 leading to the loss of properties.
Police operatives led by DPO CPS Onitsha SP Ifeanyi Iburu quickly mobilized to the scene and cordoned off the Area to prevent looting and further catastrophe. The state Fire Service was equally contacted and they responded promptly to put out the fire.
No loss of life and no injury have been reported
